Do you just place the fermenter in the water and let it go for a few weeks? I imagine this would work for keeping beer cool enough in the summer too. That is always my struggle, as I don't have sufficient air conditioning in my house to ferment beer at a proper temperature during the summer.Rhenhttp://www.homebrewingstoredirectory.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6841706258491008254.post-80539490372685525502012-10-17T09:49:55.106-07:002012-10-17T09:49:55.106-07:00Just wanted to send along a quick update: I enter...Just wanted to send along a quick update: I entered my version of this recipe (with just a few slight modifications) into our local Maine Homebrewer's Competition. I want to enter this in a local homebrewer competition. Any suggestion on getting more flavor (for a 5 gallon batch)? Do you think 2 boxes of the mulling spices would be overkill for a 5 gallon batch?Chris Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07746310726091267242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6841706258491008254.post-46831217527703828572010-09-21T05:35:37.375-07:002010-09-21T05:35:37.375-07:00Sounds like a great recipe. Save a bottle of that and I'll swap for the Belgian Strong I'm brewing now. ;)JetSmoothhttp://smokebubbles.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
